Doug Dominiak

As Vice President, Product Management at Roundbox, Doug Dominiak has responsibility for defining and bringing to market an innovative group of products for delivering applications and content over wireless and broadcast networks.
Mr. Dominiak is a pioneer in the mobile data industry; having played key roles in the companies and industry fora that brought mobile browsing from an interesting idea to a must-have feature, generating significant revenue for mobile operators. Doug is now pursuing the next generation of technologies to deliver rich media and relevant data to mobile devices.
Prior to joining Roundbox, he was the Product Manager of Mobile Browser and MIDAS products at Openwave. The Openwave Mobile Browser is deployed on over 1 billion mobile devices worldwide, and played a key role in the development of the mobile data market, being the first commercially deployed mobile browser and market-share leader.
Mr. Dominiak started his career at Motorola Labs, the research and development arm of Motorola Inc. There he developed pioneering wireless technologies essential for the emerging mobile data industry. Mr. Dominiak played a key role in Motorola's efforts as founding member of the WAP Forum.
