As Vice President, Software Development, Edgar Villanueva oversees software
design and development of all Roundbox products. Edgar brings to Roundbox a
proven track record in leading worldwide development teams responsible for
delivering industry-leading software solutions. Edgar's extensive experience
spans many industries including telecommunications, medical imaging, finance,
and accounting.
Career
Edgar joins Roundbox from Cisco Systems, where he served as a technical lead
managing several key projects, including dispatch-to-desktop, wireless
push-to-talk, presence and instant messaging, and SIP applications and clients.
Prior to Cisco, Edgar was a consultant with Future Minds, helping to develop a
business plan for an embedded phone stack based on SIP, and working on projects
for companies such as dynamicsoft and Goldman Sachs.
