Guidance
Roundbox provides a Guidance Package, which is an important value
proposition for broadcasters and mobile operators who deliver a variety of video and data
services to their subscribers. Roundbox provides the critical software elements, which power
standards-compliant electronic service guides. Network functions are managed by the
Roundbox Server, which handles aggregation of programming
data and reliable delivery of the ESG data and signaling information to the handset.
On the mobile device, the Roundbox Client SDK provides
a multiple-platform service layer for deploying broadcast-based
applications including the ESG user interface.
