Roundbox Server
At the core of the Roundbox Mobile Broadcast Suite 5.0, is the Roundbox Server, which enables
the centralized management of broadcast applications, services, and network policies.
The standards-based product is designed for reliability and also has unique capabilities to
manage bandwidth and optimize your network for delivering video and data applications.
The Roundbox Server has a modular architecture for adding additional capabilities such as
guidance, datacast, advertising, and widgets.

- Reliability - The Server addresses complex issues such as forward error correction and data carouseling to ensure reliable data transmission. It also has high availability configurations with 99.999% reliability.
- Efficiency / Bandwidth Management - The server puts you in complete control of bandwidth allocation, allowing you to set bandwidth limits on a per session basis and control the relative priority of data published on each session. An advanced bandwidth optimization engine helps you optimize your bandwidth utilization by taking advantage of the inherent burstiness of datacast feeds, allowing you to fit more content on your broadcast bandwidth.

Roundbox Server - Mobile DTV Edition - In addition to the core functionality, the Roundbox Server – Mobile DTV creates a compelling Mobile DTV experience and is capable of ingesting and delivering Mobile DTV announcement data and feeds for Mobile DTV Widgets.
